In December we hosted an Open House for our dermatologist, Dr. Lani Clark. She and my friend June set up stations throughout the store, where people could ask about different products available, like skin tightening without surgery, eyelid surgery, eyelash enhancement, laser procedures....It was a fun evening and a very relaxing way to meet with a Doctor and her staff.

In October we attended the Women's Conference in Long Beach. It was awsome! We had a lot of interest in our work; trust me, putting a booth together knowing the backdrop was going to be orange was a little daunting. But Ann & Tammy pulled it off!

In November, Rick Rackers, an Auxiliary of Assistance League of Long Beach shopped and enjoyed Chocolate Martinis! Plus they raised about $700 which will be used to provide uniforms and backpacks to Long Beach Students. For more info, check them out under our "Community" button.

In November, Ability First (formerly Crippled Children's Society) met for their meeting then enjoyed an Interior Design Seminar. Of course, they all had to shop for the Holidays!

Not only did we have a fun evening, with our Chef, Wine Tasting, Chocolate Tasting & Olive Oil Tasting, but Kristie's earned almost $1,500!

Kristie's Foundation is currently working on raising money to build Kristie's Place; the first children's end-of-life care facility in Southern California. Kristie's Place will give parents of dying children an option. Most parents do not want their child to die in a hospital but bringing them home creates challenges and often is not possible.

Kristie's also partners with wish-granting organizations, and children's hospices from all over the world to bring kids to Southern California for a magical weeklong "wish trip" or short compassion stay.

  The skies cleared for us February 7th as we hosted We Care's 3rd Annual "From the Heart" fundraiser and raised almost $45,000. We Care serves families and individuals and helps them with food, clothing, bus & gas vouchers, personal care products, rent & utilities.
