Downstairs Remodel
"My husband and I recently remodeled the downstairs portion of our home. We were dreading the mess and the problems we were sure were going to occur, and we were not looking forward to being confined to living upstairs with - - - construction mess below us for 8 weeks. The experience did not turn our to be anything like what we were dreading. In fact, your excellent staff, from Ingunn, the designer, to Tommy and his construction crew, made it sort of an adventure with something new to look forward to seeing completed every day.
To begin, Ingunn was amazing! I do not make choices easily, but she was able to guide my selections so that the finished rooms were EXACTLY what I've always wanted. Sometimes I had no idea what to pick, so I just said, "You do it." I am thrilled with everything she chose! I felt very comfortable talking to her, and she was always available to answer any questions that I had. She even helped me to arrange my furniture and rehang my pictures when the remodel was completed! I couldn't have had a better decorator!
We are very pleased with every aspect of our remodel. The new floors, the fireplace, the lights, the kitchen, and the painting look like something I could see in a home decorating magazine and the path to getting there was very smooth. Frank and I would like to thank and commend everyone involved. We are so pleased that when we work on the upstairs, we will absolutely return to Designing Whims, and we will recommend your company to all of our friends who have any remodeling to do."
