Who are we?
In 1970 we began as flooring contractors specializing in fire and water damage restoration, we were known as Aegean Floor Coverings and Restoration. Since then we’ve completed over 35,000 projects and installations.
In 1995 Designing Whims was born and we made our services available to the community. In 1997 we moved from our Los Alamitos warehouse location to our new store on Cerritos Avenue.
While still providing floor coverings, Designing Whims added window and wall coverings, new and furniture accessories and complete home decorating services.
We're still the best kept secret in Los Alamitos.
