	In 1970 we began as flooring contractors specializing in fire and water damage restoration, and we were known as Aegean Floor Coverings & Restoration. During our first 25 years, we completed over 35,000 projects and installations. In 1995 Designing Whims was born and we made our floor coverings services available to the community. In 1997 we moved from our Los Alamitos warehouse location to our new store on Cerritos Avenue. While still providing full floor coverings services, Designing Whims added complete home decorating services, including window coverings and wall coverings, furniture, accessories, kitchen remodeling and bath remodeling.
